The Diamond Crown complex, developed by DOJI Group, comprises two iconic structures—a 45-storey landmark tower, One Signature, and a 35-storey residential tower. This pair of soaring towers serve as the crown jewels of one of Vietnam’s largest cities—Hai Phong’s—urban landscape.
The One Signature tower, characterized by its triangular form with rounded corners, is positioned prominently at a major junction, poised to serve as a city landmark. Across One Signature, the U-shaped residential tower serves as a complementary piece, designed to evoke a sense of welcome and community.
Both buildings draw inspiration from the art of fine jewellery, reflecting the heritage of DOJI Group’s founder, a key figure in Vietnam’s jewellery industry. The architectural design of Diamond Crown echoes its name, taking the shape of a crown, whose lattice pattern is inspired by the lotus flower, Vietnam’s national symbol, represented through interwoven rhomboid outlines across the facades.
The lattice work extends from the base to the rooftop, transitioning from a crisscross pattern to a streamlined finish at the summit. Dynamic LED lights embedded within the lattice create a visually striking display, enhancing the complex's contemporary appeal.
A meticulously landscaped plaza divides Diamond Crown into two sections, inviting various functions, such as meetings, with its F&B outlets as well as open-air events and entertainment features.
Internally, the towers feature numerous water elements, curvilinear designs, and expansive windows, fostering a luxurious atmosphere within the property’s restaurants, lounges, and bars.
Notably, Diamond Crown is the first development in Vietnam to employ the Diagrid Structural System, representing an important advancement in architectural innovation. This system is similar in idea and execution to a typical moment frame but more evolved, with triangular structures with diagonal support beams optimizing each structural element. Columns and diagonals or braces are combined, enabling a more efficient frame and an aesthetically distinct appearance. This highly adaptable method eliminates the need for vertical columns and creates mostly column-free interiors, allowing free, clear, and unique floor plans.
All in all, Diamond Crown exemplifies a significant architectural milestone, reflecting Vietnam’s aspirations towards a vibrant and prosperous future.
